Singers & Bands
Friday Night
Mike Williams
My music career began at 13, with a washboard in 1956, followed 6 months later by promotion to the tea chest. It took another year of saving to buy my first guitar. Earliest influences included Buddy Holly & Johnny Cash, since followed by so many great singers from many different genres. Over all those years I have sung country, rock, folk and miscellaneous stuff.

Claire Farrell
Claire sings a mix if traditional and contemporary folk with influences like Mary Black. Also some original songs with a French folk feel.

Gareth Knowles
I play/sing contemporary folk songs and have written some of my own songs. I am relatively new to live performances but my music seems to be enjoyed.

The Blue Grass Project
Comprising guitar, fiddle bass, mandolin, fiddle, banjo and harmony vocals, The Bluegrass Project play a lively mix of traditional American folk with some surprise modern covers thrown in. For bookings please contact John on 07935208134 or message our Facebook page.

Saturday Night
John Bailey
From Manchester in the 60s Folk revival to the thriving music scene of Furness. From Child ballads and street songs to Eddie Vedder via Jesse Fuller, Country Joe, Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs, Leonard Cohen, Tom Paxton, Richard Thompson etc. Unaccompanied or with 6 or 12 string guitar....... and spoons.

Celia Ketchell
I play traditional and contemporary English and American folk music and also my own songs inspired by current events or people I meet. My influences include Bob Dylan, Tom Paxton, and Richard Thompson.

Scott Larrabee
I play early pre-war blues from the Mississippi Delta. My influences include Son House, Robert Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt, Big Bill Broonzy, and Blind Lemon Jefferson.

Sue Bousfield and Liz Moore have played together as Scold's Bridle for more the 40 years. Their superb harmonies and dynamic presentation promise the best of music with heaps of fun.

Chris Bannister
Talented singer/song writer presenting his own works alongside much loved classics and undiscovered folk songs. All this and his tribute to the music of John Denver have given him an international reputation lasting two decades.

Shallow Waters
The band plays a wide range of folk music incorporating songs from The Civil Wars, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison and the Lumineers.
